New Owner Consultation 

For anyone who has just bought a new dog or puppy.  Let us help you set up your dog friendly house successfully and give you all the important Dog 101 information you need right away!

Price: $150 for a 2 hour in-home consultation ($100 for rescue dogs)

We understand how stressful it is to go out of town and leave your dog behind.  That's why we decided to offer our premium sleepover service.  Your dog won't be caged or left alone.  They become part of the family for their stay enjoying all the benefits of living with a professional dog trainer.   We simulate their family routines as much as possible to make them comfortable.  Sterling loves to spoil her boarding clients and makes sure they have just as good of a vacation as you do!

Note: Dogs will be dropped off by 2 p.m. on their last day or will be charged for another boarding night.

Trying to train your dog can be overwhelming.  With so many books and techniques, it's hard to decide how to begin your dog's training.  Our training is based on positive reinforcement and a combination of luring and clicking behavior.  Don't worry if that sounds confusing, we do a great job of making dog training feel easy.  We will point you in the right direction and also fine tune your skills in the comfort of your own home.  This is a great option for people who can't fit a six week class in their schedule.

Behavior Problem Solutions

Price: $150 for a two hour initial consultation, $75/hr per follow up session

Your dog is part of the family and we want him to fit in as much as possible.  Private training can be a great way to combat common behavior problems like chewing, barking, digging, house training, guarding etc.  We will help you set your dog up for success with our very effective methods based on the way dogs learn.  The training plan we come up with will fit your lifestyle so you may decide to have us do training for you or to roll up your sleeves and do it yourself.  No matter what the plan, it will be simple to understand and carry out.  We believe in training that is easy and effective and yes, even fun! Board and Train

This service is for people with busy lifestyles who need top quality training for their dogs.  Let us modify your dog's behavior during his fun-filled stay.

Price: $50 for an initial consultation (applied to boarding fee if scheduled)

$1000 for 10 days, $1700 for 20 days and $2300 for 30 days

• Hour and a half initial consultation

• Boarding accommodations

• Specialized training plan designed to meet your goals

• Basic house manners training during stay

• Hour debrief session at the end of your dog's stay

• Half hour follow up session after two weeks

• Post program training plan that is detailed and easy to follow

• 60 days email support

Or unique boarding program is an effective and fun way for your dog to get the training he needs.   First, we will have an initial consultation to discuss your training goals and outline a program for your pooch.  He will come for a fun-filled visit to Sterling's home and begin his training routine that is specially designed to accomplish the goals you have set.  Your dog gets to experience the exciting daily life of a trainer which includes outdoor dog trips, lots of attention, several training sessions per day and a complimentary training on basic house manners! Practice what you and your dog has learned in your complimentary class, either Puppy Manners or Basic Manners depending on your dog's age ($150 value!)

Green Puppy Academy

Price: $1100 for 14 days and $1800 for 30 days

Includes:

• Hour and a half initial consultation

• Housetraining program

• Boarding accommodations

• Behavior problem prevention program

• Socialization and handling exercises

• Basic obedience (sit, stand, down, anti-jump, wait, stay etc.)

• Green Paws Training Manual

• Recall and bite inhibition training

• Half hour follow up session after two weeks

• Post program training plan that is detailed and easy to follow

• 60 days email support

Getting a puppy is very exciting but it can also be an overwhelming experience at the same time.  What we now know about puppies is there is a critical period where they must be socialized and trained in order to prevent common behavior problems.  Since many people often don't have that kind of time to devote to their puppies in the first few weeks, the Green Puppy Academy is the perfect solution!

Once your puppy has left our program, he will have beautiful house manners, basic obedience, be well socialized to people and other dogs and be ready to be a great addition to your family. 

Don't worry about having to leave your new puppy for a few weeks.  We will gladly schedule many appointments throughout your puppy's stay for cuddle and play time.  Also, check out our class schedule and seminars!
